Melbourne Residency - Assistant Store Manager

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are excited to announce that we are seeking an outstanding Assistant Store Manager to work alongside our Store Manager and help run our Melbourne Residency. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a similar role within a premium or luxury brand. You must have a strong understanding of the retail industry and a genuine passion for SIR and its ethos.

As the Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve sales targets and KPIs. You will also play a key role in fostering a motivating and inspiring team environment.

We are looking for an individual who demonstrates positive energy and enthusiasm, promoting a strong and committed team atmosphere for our SIR the label team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Drive the team to exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Support and provide feedback to staff alongside the Store Manager
  • Provide training to retail staff
  • Create a fair, fun, and knowledgeable workplace
  • Maintain an exceptional level of customer satisfaction, incorporating SIR staff training to exceed expectations
  • Supervise all staff in the Manager’s absence and report any policy violations to the Store Manager
  • Support in all store administration, including financial management, store operations, and reporting
  • Have a strong understanding of store operations
  • Act as the acting manager in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Assist the Store Manager in the daily running of the store, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, store operations, staff training, and management
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and provide impactful sales training
  • Adhere to any visual merchandising or window changes directed by the Store Manager or Head of Retail
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Store Manager to brainstorm and discuss ideas for increasing sales, customer growth, VIP events, and store updates
  • Communicate regularly with the Store Manager about any store issues, concerns, and needs
  • Communicate individual and store daily/weekly/monthly sales targets to all team members
